Initially labelled as an AI Agent token by many popular crypto sites, FARTCOIN was actually a joke created by the AI Truth Terminal. Truth Terminal was prompted to create a meme that would resonate with the crypto community, and thus FARTCOIN, currently the world’s largest AI memecoin, was born.

Elon Trump Fart 500

We’ve had Trump coins, we’ve had Elon coins, and now, FARTCOINs. Putting it all together, we now have, ETF500! ETF500 is a combination of the crypto community's favorite memes, with the number 500, mocking the stock market’s S&P 500. At the time of writing, ETF500 appears to be declining but had a peak market capitalization of over $30 million in January 2025.

The FARTCOIN Sell Off

Unfortunately, a huge price dip in FARTCOIN was triggered by Andy Ayrey in late January 2025. Andy, the creator of Truth Terminal, did an over the counter (OTC) trade, selling more than $20 million worth of FARTCOIN in order to create a foundation fund for Truth Terminal. Truth Terminal as the inspiration for FARTCOIN, received over 20 million FARTCOIN tokens during FARTCOIN’s inception, likely as a marketing stunt.
