Bounty Temple: Introducing Play-To-Earn Evolution

4.1 | by CoinGecko | Edited by Vera Lim

How to Play Bounty Temple

Bounty Temple is an accessible Play-To-Earn game, where players use a Bounty Temple Monument (BTM) NFT to play with or against players. The game uses a slot machine system to determine actions in game, alongside a building system where players can increase their earnings by leveling up their buildings.

Key Takeaways

  • Bounty Temple is a Play-To-Earn on the Polygon network. It features interactive gaming features with a reward system for gamers.

  • Bounty Temple claims to revolutionize the Play-To-Earn concept by introducing features and strategies that tackle key challenges of the GameFi space. This includes modifications to the gameplay and the reward system to sustain gamers’ interest and the value of the in-game items.

  • Bounty Temple uses blockchain technology, NFTs, and a double token system to deliver engaging gameplay and build synergy with every part of its system.

Bounty Temple P2E Game

A key factor of GameFi’s appeal is Play-To-Earn (P2E), which isn’t a direct feature of web2 games. But P2E has a problem; many P2E games are short-lived, where unsustainable tokenomics lead to player churn. Infinitely-generating tokens with a non-corresponding demand has led to the devaluation of the game assets, a resultant decrease in profitability and interest.

This is what Bounty Temple aims to fix. Bounty Temple claims to have developed a strategy to sustain gamers’ interest and engagement through a brew of immersive gameplay and a stable reward system. Bounty Temple’s approach is geared towards solving some of the key challenges that GameFi projects have faced in the past.

What Is Bounty Temple?

Build your sovereign empire and army, and attack and raid your neighboring villages! Bounty Temple is designed to give gamers the experience of a super-nation in the medieval era. Take advantage of your neighboring city’s weakness and even steal other village’s gold.

Bounty Temple is a decentralized game on the Polygon blockchain. Bounty Temple’s gameplay is developed with blockchain-based assets like NFTs and fungible tokens. Bounty Temple enables gamers to engage in immersive tasks and earn in-game items in the process. These assets can be traded in the integrated marketplace or external marketplaces.

Bounty Temple has developed a token generation, distribution, and management system that maintains the value of associated tokens to ensure that the game remains profitable for players as it progresses and therefore retains their interest. According to the project, this is the core of its Play-To-Earn Evolution (P2EE).

What Is the Play-To-Earn Evolution (P2EE)?

Play-To-Earn Evolution is a tokenomics and gameplay strategy developed by Bounty Temple to sustain the value of associated game items, the profitability of the game, and the interest of gamers. P2EE features inclusive gameplay, a token burn and mint model, and revenue generation programs that are channeled toward sustaining the game’s value. The strive to achieve a growing demand for the game items amidst a progressively decreasing supply is Bounty Temple’s approach to revolutionizing the P2E concept. This idea is integrated into the overall gameplay. The P2EE has three pillars:

Gameplay Design

The first pillar of the P2EE is the gameplay design. According to Bounty Temple, the game is designed with inclusivity in mind. This is to make it playable for everyone and build a pool of players from every demographic. Any player can easily understand and participate in the activities available in the Bounty Temple game. Bounty Temple also claims that its game requires little commitment from players, where players can earn in as little as 15 minutes a day.

A Sustainable Economy

The second pillar of the P2EE is a sustainable economy in Bounty Temple. Gamers will be required to ‘craft’ game items by purchasing NFTs using the game’s native token. The BTM (Bounty Temple Monument) is the starting NFT item for every gamer, where revenue from the purchases is used for the token buyback program for the GIA token.

Contributions to the revenue for the buyback program include funds from the TYT ecosystem and income from microtransactions. Bounty Temple claims to operate a 100% buyback program with 40%, 40%, and 20% revenue contributions from game item purchases, microtransactions, and the TYT ecosystem fund, respectively. This program helps to keep the GIA token stable. The Bounty Temple NFT is also designed with a burn-and-mint model; NFTs have a lifespan of 365 days with incentives for holders and owners of expired NFTs.

Scholar Ecosystem

The third pillar of the P2EE is the reward structure and the scholar program. In GameFi, scholars are new players that borrow NFTs from NFT owners (managers). Managers can easily list their NFTs for rent and set their reward-sharing ratio, which can be anywhere from 1%-99%. Also, reward payouts are automatically done via escrow.

Managers can recall their NFTs at any time, giving them freedom regarding how they utilize their assets. The scholar program includes a screening process for scholars that includes KYC and a rating system that measures performance, which is intended to prevent system abuse.

Bounty Temple Gameplay

The game’s structure consists of two systems – the slot machine system and the building system.

Bounty Temple gameplay loop

Slot Machine System

The slot machine system features a slot machine-styled BTM (Bounty Temple Monument). Like a lucky wheel, players spin the machine to determine their next action. The BTMs have a spin limit according to the class of the NFT. The spin allocation is known as Mana. Each player can spin up the (number of) Mana allocated to their BTM. To receive a reward, the player must complete the action selected by the spin. Available actions include Steal, Shield, Attack and so much more. These actions require a player to steal from the neighboring village, add more defense to their village, or attack their neighboring village, respectively.

Building System

The building system requires players to build their cities and upgrade the buildings using gold. As players build, they stand higher chances of earning more. Each city consists of 5 buildings and numerous upgrade levels. Players will be able to develop even more cities when they complete all the upgrade levels required for their cities.

K-rune sales

Kraken Founders Rune (K-rune) is a special set of NFTs for the Bounty Temple gameplay. It is a collection of 21,000 NFTs that improve players’ experience. K-Rune NFT holders will be able to enjoy exclusive privileges such as enhanced gameplay with special traits that boost in-game actions, additional earning capabilities through Trait Rewards, and exclusive Mystery Box airdrops. Mystery Box airdrops are time-based; the earlier you become a K-Rune owner, the more airdrops you will receive. The trait reward program will see 1% of earnings from community-generated playable NFT mints go to DNA NFT holders.

According to the project, K-rune NFTs will be sold in 4 bundle tiers, where each wallet will only be able to purchase 4 bundles. The number of K-rune NFT for each bundle varies. The Mystic bundle contains 5 K-rune. Each bundle qualifies the holder for a Kraken Membership, which serves as proof of ownership.

Staking System (coming soon)

Bounty Temple announced the launch of the staking program for the TYT token. The program will enable TYT token holders to enjoy passive income and extra rewards by locking up their tokens on the platform. According to the project, stakers will earn more rewards as the asset’s price continues to rise. It also presents them with an opportunity to earn rare items. K-rune NFT holders will also earn rare in-game treasures when they stake the NFTs on the staking portal.

Play-To-Earn With Bounty Temple

The earning structure of the game is in cycles. The multi-cycle earning model ensures that players can earn in multiple ways.

How players earn Bounty Temple

In the first cycle, the player can earn by acquiring the BTM NFT either by crafting or renting it from the NFT rental platform. Players can also acquire BTM from the Web2 version of the game. Holding the BTM enables the player to earn the GIA token which can be used in other parts of the game to further boost their income and their SSS (Scholar Scoring System) rating.

The second cycle enables players to earn by actively playing the game. Players can participate in daily tournaments and routine gameplay earn GIA from the game rewards pool and channel their income to acquiring more game items. Bounty Temple allocates 40% of the daily revenue from item purchases to game rewards. Players can win a share of the allocation by ranking in the top positions. Players can also win NFT shards by participating in daily tournaments.

The third earning cycle is via guild wars. Players can join a guild and participate in guild wars. Guilds consist of a guild leader, four managers, and scholars. 1/3 of the participating guilds will win the guild war. The winning guilds will share the loot, and guild leaders are eligible for a percentage of rewards of whatever his guild members and scholars earn.

Tokens in Bounty Temple: GIA and TYT

Bounty Temple operates a double token system. The native tokens of the platform are the Energia Token (GIA) and the Bounty Temple token (TYT).

Energia (GIA)

According to the project, GIA will be a stable token and will be integrated into the core operations of the game. Games can mint GIA through routine gameplay. It has no supply cap but the value will be maintained around the $0.10 price range using a burn and mint system. Users can mint GIA by depositing USDT, revenue generated from the minting program will be channeled to a reserve. This will be used to buy back GIA when the price goes below $0.10. When the price goes above $0.10, the GIA in the reserves will be released back into circulation.

GIA can be used to craft game NFTs, participate in gaming events, and purchase items from the game’s store.

Bounty Temple Token (TYT)

TYT is the governance token of the Bounty Temple game. TYT token’s value isn’t maintained around a peg. Therefore, its value can fluctuate freely based on market conditions. TYT can also be used to craft game items. When the staking program goes live, TYT holders will be able to stake their tokens and earn passive rewards. As a governance token, TYT holders can participate in community consensus and vote on development proposals for the Bounty Temple game. TYT holders can also use their tokens in the game’s marketplace to purchase listed items.

The supply of TYT tokens is capped at 48 million tokens. 22% of the total supply is reserved for the Play-To-Earn program and 4.5% of the total supply is allocated to the project’s treasury. 15% of the supply is reserved for the project team and 0.5% will be distributed in community reward programs – airdrops.

TYT currently trades on centralized exchanges like MEXC and BingX. It can also be traded on decentralized exchanges on the polygon network. See active trading pairs for the TYT token.

Final Thoughts

Craft a BTM, have fun… and earn on Bounty Temple. You can reap the rewards of your passion through the Play-To-Earn setup, but the key difference here is how Bounty Temple preserves the value of the items and tokens you earn while battling your way through the game. The idea is to preserve gamers’ interest via a sustainable earning strategy, where Bounty Temple creates a growing demand while controlling the supply of tokens.

For gamers, it could be refreshing to participate and invest in a decentralized game where you not only maintain true custody of your gaming assets but also are assured of the value-retention to a good extent. Bounty Temple’s revolutionized P2E could appeal to even more gamers in the future and grow a bigger ecosystem of gamers. A progressive community of gamers, united by a bear-proof tokenomics could just be the winning ingredient for the GameFi narrative.

Having said this, it is important to understand the offerings of the Bounty Temple game and what they mean for you as a gamer on the platform or an investor holding any asset associated with the project. This article covers some of this but isn’t exhaustive. Also, note that this article is only meant to educate readers about Bounty Temple and should not be taken as financial advice.
