Introduction to the Undeads Metaverse
Built on the Ethereum blockchain, Undeads Metaverse is an isometric survival MMORPG where players can assume the role of humans or zombies and engage in combat over scarce resources in a post-apocalyptic setting. Unlike other zombie games, new players will have to start as zombies, with 6,666 Zombie NFTs available. However, players can obtain a human character using an antidote NFT that will be airdropped to all Zombie NFT holders, with 6,666 Human NFTs up for grabs in early 2024.
Like other similar P2E games, Undeads incorporates features commonly found in previous titles, such as owning land NFTs, crafting, and breeding. This creates an environment where players participate in the game’s economy. By owning special regions and building NFTs, users can receive a share of the rewards generated from other users’ in-game activity, as well as construct special structures to further upgrade their Zombie and Human NFTs.
The Undeads Metaverse utilizes a dual-token model, UDS, their governance token, and UGOLD, the game’s utility token, both of which can be earned by playing the game and performing in-game tasks. These tokens can also be traded on Undeads' in-game exchange and other exchanges.
While the main game is estimated to take 16-18 months to complete, it’s clear that the community is hungrily waiting to get their first taste of the Undeads universe. As such, the team has since announced the release of Undeads Rush, the team’s first fully playable title set in the Undeads Metaverse.

Undeads Rush is an immersive survival racing game where players will race across the Undeads universe, driving through half-destroyed cities and exterminating zombies in the race for survival. Players will have to go as fast as they can while shooting and ramming through as many zombies as possible as they navigate through obstacles in desolate landscapes.
With the Garage as your sanctuary, players can choose from five different types of vehicles in Undeads Rush. Each car has its own unique traits, distributed between Armor, Speed, and Health, appealing to gamers with various playstyles. For example, the Racing Car is the fastest vehicle in the game but comes with the lowest tier of armor and health, while the Heavy Truck and Military Jeep sacrifice speed for larger amounts of armor and health. Gamers will also get to select their preferred weapon type, from machine guns to flamethrowers, each with different tiers of range and damage.
Undeads Rush is currently exclusive to holders of any of the Undead Metaverse NFTs and any NFT from their partners, such as Azuki, DeGods, CloneX, Captainz, Pudgy Penguins, and Milady Maker. By enlisting NFTs from other collections for participation, the team has opened up the game to a broader community of NFT and Gamefi enthusiasts.
As players continue to rack up more in-game points, they can compete against others and climb the daily and monthly leaderboard for a chance to earn even more game points. Depending on their position in the leaderboard, the Top 50 players will be awarded varying amounts of extra game points at the end of each day and month. Players can also earn more points by holding a rarer Zombie NFT or using purchasable NFT upgrades to give them an edge in earning more Game Points.
Why amass game points, you may ask? In the first half of 2024, your game points will become your ticket to future rewards, as they can be exchanged into UDS and spent like any other cryptocurrency. As such, playing Undeads Rush will largely determine your eligibility for the Undeads airdrop, which will be explained in the next section.

To comply with the current regulatory landscape, the Undeads team has also shared their plans to rebalance their tokenomics via community airdrop programs instead of token sales. The token supply allocated for public and private sales would be redirected towards two rounds of Airdrops, starting with Airdrop Season 1, which has already begun with the launch of Undeads Rush. As mentioned above, this particular season will feature rewards based on the players’ accumulated game points, which could be exchanged for tokens in the near future.
However, tokens will also be allocated through Dmission, an Engage-to-Earn platform, where users can earn Loyalty points for completing various tasks. Additionally, Undeads NFT holders will also receive a multiplier on their Loyalty points based on the rarity of their NFTs.
Four percent of the total UDS supply, equivalent to 10 million tokens, has been allocated to Airdrop Season 1, with 1% going to NFT holders during the Token Generation Event (TGE). The remainder will be divided between the Game and Loyalty Points earners, with 1% of the Airdrop going to the Loyalty Points Swap and the other 2% going to the Game Points Swap. Besides that, another 20 million UDS tokens have been earmarked for the second and third airdrop seasons. While the details of how to earn allocations for these seasons are not available at the time of writing, the team has mentioned that these tokens will go to the most active players on the Steam gaming platform.
