Doge, Bera and now Kek?

It would seem that after the overnight success of Dogechain, 'memechains' are now the talk of the town.

Some of the new animal-based Layer-1s that have recently popped up are Berachain and Kekchain, both of them claiming to be DeFi-focused EVM-compatible blockchains. Much like another newly launched blockchain, Canto, Berachain is built on the Cosmos SDK.

While these networks are far from complete, Kekchain has just released its testnet and faucet.

Arbitrum Nitro Soon!

The long awaited Arbitrum Nitro upgrade is set to go live in a matter of days! It is expected to take place on 31st August at 1030 GMT -4, and Arbitrum will be down for a couple of hours while the upgrade takes place.

With the upgrade, network fees are expected to be lower, and transactions will be even faster than they already were. Once Nitro is in place, you can expect Arbitrum Odyssey to resume, though no fixed date has been set yet.

Sometime last month, we covered an up-and-coming, Rick-and-Morty-esque project called Art Gobblers. We speculated that this might be an official NFT project by the same team and since then, Art Gobblers have come out to declare themselves an ""experimental art project"" by Rick and Morty creator, Justin Roiland, and Paradigm.

There's still a shroud of mystery surrounding the project, with not much details being shared by the team yet. As of now, users can visit the website to interact and create an original art of their own...perhaps this might lead us somewhere?
