Specular-tion

Specular is an upcoming Ethereum L2 Optimistic Rollup that claims to provide "stronger security and decentralization properties than existing optimistic rollup solutions". Currently, the Specular testnet is up and running, allowing users to perform basic swaps on SpecSwap.

There are no details on whether the testnet will be incentivized yet, but it certainly doesn't hurt mucking about and keeping an eye out for this new L2 ecosystem, especially when all eyes are on Ethereum with the Merge coming soon.

For the NFT connoisseurs

Love aping into NFT collections on different chains but tired of the hassel of switching between marketplaces and tools to keep track of all of them?

Then you might want to keep your eye on an up and coming multi-chain NFT aggregator, Kinetic, backed by prominent VCs such as Jump and Sequoia Capital. There's not much info now aside from a Notion page, but stay tuned!

Shade LP campaign

Shade Protocol is a project building out a suite of privacy-preserving DeFi applications on Secret Network. They have launched an official liquidity mining programme on SiennaSwap, which you can find a tutorial on here.

Additionally, LP tokens obtained from providing liquidity can be soon used with ShadeBonds, planned for launch on 12th September, which seems to be the starting of their efforts to accumulate protocol-owned liquidity.
