SHIFT Stocks is introducing a new mechanism for the tokenization of securities, classified as Asset-Referenced Tokens (ARTs) under MiCAR, meaning the tokens are classified as cryptocurrencies and not securities under MiFID, this means no MiFID or equivalent financial license is required for listing or distributing the tokens as the Securities laws does not apply to the tokens. Fully backed by their respective stock, always redeemable, 24/7 permissionless tokens that any user can freely trade, lend, borrow, or use as collateral across top platforms and dApps.
