What is OctaSpace about?

OctaSpace is a Proof-of-Work blockchain based on the go-ethereum code base. It works in cooperation with an internal PoA network to increase the throughput of transactions for billing needs. From a utility point of view, OctaSpace is a public cloud platform that builds infrastructure and API on top of hardware provided by users, implementing services like a GPU marketplace, VPN access, and application deployment.

What makes OctaSpace unique?

We focus on being mostly open-sourced and transparent, with services that can be widely used to solve tasks from AI and ML fields, CGI and common rendering, password recovery, and any other areas where huge computer power and a distributed environment are necessary.

What's the history of OctaSpace?

The project initially started in 2020 as an idea to implement a Proof-of-Concept of a distributed system that could execute tasks and applications. After the first system was ready, we faced problems related to scalability, which stopped future development. In June 2022, the project was reborn with a new core that eliminated the problems we faced during the PoC creation, and now it provides us with the possibility to implement our initial ideas.

What's next for OctaSpace?

In our future plans, we are focusing on researching and implementing new services that would be useful for end-users and can be monetized. We are also working on improving our API to access our services and enhancing the UI of our products for a better user experience.
