At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we'll say it again: At CoinGecko, we're on a mission to empower the decentralized future. We're committed to providing crypto projects, founders, developers and analysts worldwide with the most reliable, comprehensive and accurate cryptocurrency data – both off-chain and on-chain.
Beyond crypto price, market data and metadata, we're expanding into on-chain token and DEX data (yes, data for coins that are not yet listed on CoinGecko), plus on-chain NFT data. With these exciting updates lined up and a revamped documentation underway, we're definitely feeling very bullish about 2024!

Set a Hard-Cap to Avoid Overages (New)
Since Feb 1, you can now opt to set a hard-cap on API calls to avoid incurring overages. Toggle this on or off, directly from Developer Dashboard.
With the overage option enabled, you can continue to make API calls even when your usage exceeds your monthly credits. Overage charges will apply.
With the overage option disabled, you won't be able to make API calls when your usage exceeds your monthly credits.
Please note that this feature is currently in beta. If you have changed your API plan recently, the feature may not work as expected on the first day of plan change.
