Axie Infinity is all the rage now, and that’s totally understandable considering how one is able to earn a significant amount of money through simple and adorable gameplay. However, the price of these monsters - better known as Axies - have skyrocketed, making the barrier of entry rather steep. That’s where Axie Infinity scholarships come into play. How this works is that a scholarship organization lends a scholar a team of Axies to play the game. In return, the scholar will have to give a percentage of their SLP earnings to the organization as sort of a rental fee.

One of the best places to start finding scholarships is on the official Axie Infinity Discord server. There is a channel dedicated to scholarships, where potential candidates may post their details and reasons they should be given a team of Axies.

3. Twitter Search
Most organizations offering scholarships usually promote their scholarships on Twitter, especially when they are looking for candidates. Doing a quick search with the terms “Axie scholarship”, “Axie Infinity scholarship”, and “Axie scholar”, will bring up multiple options. Converting the aforementioned terms into hashtags will also bring up similar results.
How To Get An Axie Infinity Scholarship
Here are some of our tips:
1. Fill out the application properly
Most scholarships require applicants to fill out a form with basic information, such as name, location, relevant experience, and a reason to be picked. When it comes to filling out the application, put some thought into your answers. Answer with honesty, and be sure to put all relevant information into it. These forms are used to screen applicants, and filling it up properly will set you apart from other candidates.
2. Engage with the community
Looking to join a certain scholarship? Then join their social channels such as Discord and Telegram, and make a name for yourself on their servers. Build up your reputation amongst the community, and engage in quality conversations.
3. Bring your skills to the table
Have any skills such as photoshop, video editing, or content creation? Use those skills and create valuable content for the Axie Infinity community. This could range from infographics, video tutorials, guides (like the one you are reading now), and more! Prove yourself to be a valuable contributor and you’ll stand out amongst other scholars.
4. Don’t beg organizations for a scholarship
Time and time again, we have seen posts by organizations receive spam by applicants begging to be accepted as a scholar. Most times, this does not pay off, and scholarship managers are more likely to get annoyed.
5. Experience with similar games is a plus
Having experience with similar games will make your application stand out. There are a number of card games that can come in handy, and this includes Hearthstone, Legends of Runeterra, Pokemon Trading Card Game, and Magic The Gathering. These are games have similar mechanics to Axie Infinity, and will be relevant in honing your skills.

6. Apply for multiple scholarships
To improve your chances of snagging a scholarship, do apply to multiple organizations. Similar to how one would apply to multiple job vacancies just to broaden their opportunities. However, if you’ve managed to secure a scholarship, be sure to turn down any other offers. Strictly avoid multi-accounting as this may get you banned from playing Axie Infinity. On top of that, your scholarship will be rescinded and it’s unlikely that you will secure a new one once word spreads.
7. Treat the scholarship as an actual job
Scholarship application forms will usually enquire about the number of hours one is able to dedicate. Be sure that you’re able to dedicate sufficient time to the game before signing up. Think of it as a job, and like any job, you need to be able to perform.
