Axiom Exchange: A Top Revenue-Generating Protocol on Solana
Axiom Exchange is a decentralized trading platform where users can trade Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), and various other cryptocurrencies across several major blockchains like Ethereum, Solana, and Polkadot. As a decentralized exchange (DEX), Axiom uses a system that allows traders to maintain full control over their assets while reducing the risk of hacks. The exchange relies on smart contracts to automatically match trades with lower fees, faster transaction speeds, and better security.
The Axiom team has made it their mission to build a comprehensive all-in-one trading platform, and it seems that traders are catching on. Despite only launching in 2024, Axiom has already gained traction with traders and hit 4.3 million visitors a month in February 2025. On top of that, it became the top revenue-generating protocol on Solana based on data from DefiLlama.

Axiom Exchange Features and Cross-Chain Functionality
Axiom Exchange is differentiating itself from others by enabling users to trade across multiple blockchains without needing to go through the hassle of moving funds between different platforms. The cross-chain functionality means users can access a wide variety of digital assets without juggling multiple wallets across multiple platforms.
It also offers a range of trading tools such as real-time market data, automated trading systems, and a wallet and X tracker. These features can help users set up strategies, automate traders, and take advantage of trends. At the same time, users can take advantage of Axiom’s migration tools and perform trades like spot buys, limit orders, and Hyperliquid perpetuals. They can also earn passive income by depositing into Axiom’s Yield.
Founders and Backing
Henry Zhang and Preston Ellis are the co-founders leading Axiom since its inception in 2024. Both of them are entrepreneurs with a technical background; Zhang was previously at TikTok working on generative AI for advertisements and has built two startups, one of which was successfully acquired. Ellis studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley and also successfully achieved a startup exit during his undergraduate studies.
In 2025, Zhang and Ellis entered Axiom into the Y Combinator Winter batch and secured a seed funding round of $500,000 from the startup accelerator. Since then, the company has achieved $10 million in monthly recurring revenue and $5 million in monthly net profit.
Earning Rewards On Axiom
Traders can take advantage of Axiom’s reward system that incentivizes user engagement through trading activities and referrals. Users can earn Solana (SOL) through rewards in the form of a cashback system that uses a multiplier structure that increases with a higher trade volume. Successfully referring others will also earn you 30% of the trading fees from direct referrals, 3% from indirect referrals, and 2% from extended referrals.
On top of the rewards, users will also receive points that contribute to their overall score and increase eligibility for additional benefits including possible future airdrops. Given the opportunity to earn points for a potential future airdrop, now would be an opportune time to start trading on Axiom Exchange!
However, do take note that at the time of writing, the Axiom team have not confirmed a token launch or future token airdrop campaign. Therefore, following the steps below to participate in Axiom Exchange’s points system does not guarantee a future token airdrop allocation.
Step 1: Connect to Axiom Exchange
Go to https://axiom.trade and Start Trading to sign up for an account. Always make sure you are connecting to the legitimate platform.

You can use an email address, Google account, or connect a Phantom wallet. Using a Phantom wallet just requires you to sign the confirmation message in the wallet application.
Enter an invite code here if you have any but it is not necessary to create your account.

If you use an email address or Google account, you will need to enter a verification code.

Then set up a password.

Once your account is set up through either of the three methods, you will receive a recovery key that gives you access to your wallet and funds.
We highly recommend that you write it down and keep it safely in a secure location that others do not have access to, as anyone with this key can address your wallet and funds.

After that, Axiom will give you your wallet address that you can then use to Deposit your SOL tokens.
To interact with Axiom Exchange you will need SOL and USDC on Solana as well as USDC on Hyperliquid. You can choose to deposit these assets as such or just deposit additional SOL that can be swapped for USDC through two methods.

The first will be the swap feature in the wallet itself which uses Hyperliquid. Click on your wallet in the top right corner and select the two arrows.

In the pop up window, go to Convert and input the amount of SOL you want to swap to USDC. Then confirm the transaction.
The second method is to swap in the Yields section which we cover in Step 3.

Step 2: Trade Perpetuals
Now that your wallet is funded, head to Perpetuals in the top menu.

Here you can choose to Long or Short either ETH, BTC, or SOL.
Axiom offers leverage up to 20x but do note that a higher leverage can also increase the risk of getting liquidated. Adjust your leverage in the top right corner to whatever you are comfortable with.
You can also choose to follow the Market value of the token or set a price target with the Limit option.
When you place a Long position, you are betting that the asset’s price will increase, letting you sell it higher for a profit.

On the other hand, a Short position is a bet that the asset’s price will decrease. You are borrowing and selling it at a higher price with the aim of buying it back cheaper.

Step 3: Earn Yield
In the top menu, go to Yield and Enable Yield.

You then need to Create a Marginfi Account.

There is a fee to create the account. At the time of writing, we paid approximately 0.016 SOL.

You will need USDC on Solana for this step so if you have not deposited USDC from your Solana wallet, you can choose to swap SOL.

Select the amount of SOL to swap to USDC and confirm the transaction.

Once your account has USDC, proceed to Deposit.

Input the amount and Confirm the deposit.

Step 4: Refer Others
Go to Rewards in the main menu to view your reward statistics.
On this page you can also view quests to complete for additional points.

Scroll down and select Set Referral Code to Earn Rewards.

Then set your referral code. This can be your name, nickname, or even a random combination of alphabets and numbers.
Share this referral code with others to earn from each successful referral.

Conclusion
Traders can buy, sell, and trade digital assets on Axiom Exchange on several blockchains including Ethereum, Solana, and Polkadot. The decentralized trading platform offers lower fees, cross-chain support, trading tools, and more. Axiom Exchange is running a reward system where users can earn points for a potential future token airdrop by trading and referring others.
