What is the Most Profitable Binance Launchpad Project?
Axie Infinity (AXS) is the most profitable Binance Launchpad project, boasting returns of 1,649x at its peak from its launch price. Originally priced at $0.10 during the Binance Launchpad sale, it surged to a peak of $164.90 on November 6, 2021.
Polygon (MATIC) follows closely as the second most profitable Binance Launchpad project, achieving returns of up to 1,110x with an initial token price of $0.00263. It reached its peak at $2.92 on December 27, 2021. The Sandbox (SAND) secures the third spot, with returns of 1,008x with an initial token price of $0.008333. Its peak was reached at $8.40 on November 25, 2021.
Meanwhile, the other seven top performers brought returns between 113x to 839x. Despite launching in different periods, nine of these ten projects achieved their all-time highs (ATH) in late 2021, in line with the broader market rally.

Binance Launchpad Projects Returns In 2022 and 2023
All seven Binance Launchpad Projects launched in 2022 and 2023 gave positive returns, ranging from 11 to 411 times the initial investment at their peak.
StepN (GMT) stood out as the most successful Binance Launchpad project in the past two years, netting 411 times its initial investment. With an initial token price of $0.01, GMT reached a peak of $4.11 on April 28, 2022. Conversely, Alpine F1 Team Fan Token (ALPINE) gave the lowest returns among the Binance Launchpad Projects, recording a net gain of 11 times of its initial token price of $1.00 and reaching a peak of $11.29.
The remaining projects yielded somewhat comparable returns, with Space ID (ID) and Hooked Protocol (HOOK) giving 41X returns, League of Kingdoms (LOKA) with 34X, Open Campus (EDU) with 33X, and Arkham (AKM) with 16X.
StepN Saw 10X More Returns Than Other Projects
StepN (GMT) made 10 times more returns than other projects launched between January 2022 and July 2023, netting 411 times in returns compared to the second most profitable Binance Launchpad project, which net 41 times in returns.
StepN had already achieved significant milestones before its launch on the Binance Launchpad. Milestones include the public beta release of their app with several functions, the successful completion of a $5.0 million seed round funding, and the attainment of 21K DAU (Daily Active Users) and 66K MAU (Monthly Active Users) across both iOS and Google Play store.
HOOK Enjoys 41x Returns Despite Starting with a Higher Token Price
Despite HOOK's initial token price ($0.10) being four times that of ID ($0.025), the two projects exhibited similar performance of 41x in returns.
Similar to StepN, HOOK had also achieved several significant milestones, including the successful completion of a $6.0 million seed round funding, along with the remarkable ascent of its product app - Wild Cash, which dominated Google Play rankings. Additionally, HOOK surpassed 50,000 DAU on its very first day of launch on the BNB Chain, securing the 'largest SocialFi application' title on DappRadar across all blockchains, and amassed over 2 million monthly active users on its platform.
Recent Binance Launchpad Projects Less Profitable
Recent Binance Launchpad returns have been less profitable, with the latest project, Arkham (ARKM), generating returns of up to 16 times at its peak. Preceding this, EDU gave returns of up to 33x at its peak, while ID and HOOK gave returns of up to 41x at their respective peaks. This is a far cry from the returns generated by Binance Launchpad projects launched in 2021, and could be an effect of the industry's current crypto winter.

Methodology
This study examines Binance Launchpad projects with the highest returns since December 2017 and recently launched projects between January 2022 and July 2023. Returns are derived from comparing each token's all-time-high prices and initial token prices at launch, using CoinGecko data from December 2017 to July 2023.
Binance Launchpad projects with the highest returns are AXS, MATIC, SAND, EGLD, GMT, WRX, ALPHA, ONE CTSI, and BTT.
Binance Launchpad projects launched between January 2022 and July 2023 are LOKA, ALPINE, GMT, HOOK, ID, EDU, and ARKM.
