Fully Diluted Valuation
Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) = Current Price x Total Supply
Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) is the theoretical market capitalization of a coin if the entirety of its supply is in circulation, based on its current market price. The FDV value is theoretical as increasing the circulating supply of a coin may impact its market price. Also depending on the tokenomics, emission schedule or lock-up period of a coin's supply, it may take a significant time before its entire supply is released into circulation. What is Xerberus about?
Xerberus provides independent risk intelligence for digital markets.
We help investors understand complex financial risk by building risk frameworks which are transparent, evidence-based, and verifiable.
In a market where products, vault platforms, and assets are increasingly interconnected, investors need more than surface-level information or black-box ratings. Xerberus makes the reasoning behind risk frameworks visible and open to challenge, helping investors see not just the rating, but the evidence behind it. Risk is not static in the digital asset space, it’s ever changing, and in this new era, we built our frameworks to be adaptable, keeping pace with the landscape of risk and understanding how it flows through the decentralised finance world.
Our mission is to make risk more transparent, accountable, and easier to understand for everyone.
History of Xerberus
Xerberus traces back to 2022, when the founding team began working together across digital-asset analytics, forensic reporting, and risk ratings. Their early work producing expert reports on failed and fraudulent crypto projects revealed a structural gap: by the time a forensic report exists, the market has already failed. Xerberus was created as the preventive layer — an open-source risk rating framework that derives ratings mechanically from immutable on-chain data, funded by investors who need protection rather than by the projects being rated.
The XER token launched in Q4 2024, establishing the project's foundation. Through 2025, the team built out core infrastructure, expanded the rating framework, and shipped its first ecosystem integrations, including IPOR. In Q1 2026, Xerberus completed its core risk model, launched Frontend V3, published more than 100 subscores, and made its full rating product (AAA through D) freely accessible with no paywalls. The methodology remains public and auditable: every rating can be traced to its underlying data, challenged, and independently verified.
