Market Cap
Market Cap = Current Price x Circulating Supply
Refers to the total market value of a cryptocurrency’s circulating supply. It is similar to the stock market’s measurement of multiplying price per share by shares readily available in the market (not held & locked by insiders, governments) Read More |

Market Cap / FDV
The proportion of current market capitalization compares to market capitalization when meeting max supply.
The closer the Mkt Cap/FDV to 1, the closer the current market capitalization to its fully diluted valuation and vice versa. Learn more about Mkt Cap/FDV here. |

Market Cap / TVL Ratio
Ratio of market capitalization over total value locked of this asset. A ratio of more than 1.0 refers to its market cap being greater than its total value locked.
MC/TVL is used to approximate a protocol’s market value vs. the amount in assets it has staked/locked. |

Fully Diluted Valuation
Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) = Current Price x Total Supply
Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) is the theoretical market capitalization of a coin if the entirety of its supply is in circulation, based on its current market price. The FDV value is theoretical as increasing the circulating supply of a coin may impact its market price. Also depending on the tokenomics, emission schedule or lock-up period of a coin's supply, it may take a significant time before its entire supply is released into circulation. Fully Diluted Valuation / TVL Ratio
Ratio of fully diluted valuation (FDV) over total value locked (TVL) of this asset. A ratio of more than 1.0 means that the FDV is greater than its TVL.

About Across Protocol (ACX)
Across Protocol is an optimistic cross-chain interoperability protocol designed to facilitate near-instant, low-cost, and secure asset transfers between Ethereum and various Layer 2 networks.
- Uses an intent-based architecture to deliver fills in approximately two seconds across dozens of supported blockchains.
- Secured by UMA’s optimistic oracle, ensuring on-chain verification without reliance on centralized multisigs.
- Features a capital-efficient design with a single liquidity pool and a competitive, decentralized relayer network.
What Is Across Protocol
Across Protocol is a cross-chain bridge solution that enables users to move tokens between blockchains with high speed and minimal slippage. Value moves through the system via a network of relayers who compete to fulfill user intents by providing funds on the destination chain immediately. The ACX token is put to work as a governance and incentive asset, allowing holders to shape protocol parameters and reward participants. The protocol scales by integrating new chains through its unified Swap API, which automatically selects the most efficient settlement pathway for any given transfer.
What Makes Across Protocol Unique
- Speed: Fills typically land in under two seconds, significantly faster than traditional bridge mechanisms that require waiting for finality on the origin chain.
- Optimistic Security: Leverages UMA’s optimistic oracle for dispute resolution, providing a security model where transactions are assumed valid unless challenged during a verification window.
- Capital Efficiency: Uses a single liquidity pool on Ethereum mainnet to support multiple destination chains, which reduces the need for fragmented liquidity across every supported network.
- Intent-Based Design: Focuses on fulfilling the user's end goal (the intent) rather than forcing users to navigate complex underlying bridging steps, simplifying the cross-chain experience.
What Can You Use Across Protocol for?
- Governance: ACX holders can vote on critical protocol decisions, including treasury management and the potential activation of a fee switch.
- Liquidity Provision: Users can provide liquidity to the protocol's pools to earn supply-side fees and ACX rewards.
- Relayer Incentives: Relayers are incentivized to provide fast fills through a competitive fee model and potential protocol rewards for maintaining high performance.
- Cross-Chain Swaps: Enables seamless swaps between different assets across supported Layer 2 and Layer 1 networks through integrated applications.
How Does Across Protocol Work?
When a user initiates a transfer, they express an intent to move assets to a specific chain. Independent relayers observe these intents and use their own capital to fulfill the request on the destination chain almost instantly. The protocol then uses an optimistic settlement process where relayers request reimbursement from the central liquidity pool. These requests are verified by UMA’s optimistic oracle, a system where data is assumed correct unless a participant disputes it within a verification window. Protocol service fees are paid to relayers and liquidity providers for their roles in facilitating and securing the transfer.
Team Info and Investors
Across Protocol was launched by Risk Labs, the team responsible for the UMA protocol. The project was co-founded by Hart Lambur and John Shutt, with the protocol officially launching in 2021. Major investors include Blockchain Capital, Hack VC, and Placeholder, with the project raising approximately $10 million in early backing. In June 2026, the protocol explored a transition from its original DAO structure toward a US C Corp equity model to better serve institutional demand and growing enterprise needs.
